Caregivers from across our city are uniting in The Heart of Baltimore campaign so we can have a voice in protecting quality care, expanding the middle class and improving our city’s economy.
One in five Baltimore jobs is in healthcare. So everybody in Baltimore wins when caregivers have good, family-sustaining jobs. Patients are ensured quality care and our city’s middle class expands.
Too many Baltimore healthcare workers are paid poverty wages and cannot afford healthcare for their own children. When caregivers are denied a living wage that hurts our whole city.
Fair union elections allow caregivers to have a voice to work with administrators for quality care and jobs. Baltimore’s health care workers are uniting so we can work together with administrators to protect care. Fair union elections allow workers to make up our own minds, free from coercion, in a fair secret ballot vote.
